South Korean Visitors at LAD

South Korean visitors

This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming 28 visitors from South Korea who came to learn about the UK curriculum and how we use technology to support learning. It was a great chance to share ideas and show off how we use digital tools in our school.

We kicked things off by talking about the UK curriculum, focusing on how we encourage creativity, critical thinking, and inclusivity. The group loved hearing about how Google products like Classroom and Docs help us work together, give feedback, and make sure every student gets the support they need. Our strong digital strategy ensures lessons are accessible for all children, making a real difference in their learning experience.

Our visitors got to sit in on some lessons and see the tech in action. From Chromebooks being used for group projects to Microbits being coded, it was a great way to show how technology fits naturally into learning. They were particularly impressed by the Read Write extension and how it supports accessibility for all learners. We also demonstrated how Chromebooks are central to enhancing our curriculum, enabling children to collaborate, research and create in ways that deepen their understanding.

One of the highlights was the chance to chat with our staff and children. Teachers shared their experiences with using digital tools, while children showed off their projects and explained how tech helps them learn. The group asked lots of great questions, and it was lovely to share ideas and learn from each other.

We’re so grateful for the chance to connect with such passionate educators and so proud to have an impact internationally now.
