Year 6 – Tennis

This term, Year 6 practised their tennis skills in a fun and engaging way by using balloons in their training. The soft, slow-moving balloons helped them focus on hand-eye coordination, control, and timing without the pressure of a fast-moving ball. They worked on technique, learning to position themselves correctly and strike with accuracy. This creative approach built their confidence and encouraged teamwork and communication as they practised rallies and footwork in a relaxed setting.

The children enjoyed mapping out their courses and strategising the best way to reach their goals, which involved teamwork and collaboration.
