How Can We Write a Letter?

The Little Birds looked at the book ‘Click Clack Moo’. The story was about cows typing letters using a typewriter, so we decided to inquire into the different ways to write a letter.

The children enjoyed using the typewriter  in the role play area and typing on the keyboards and laptops. And One pupil takes on the role of the practitioner using an old laptop taking the register.

Three students gathered around a table; one uses a laptop, one plays with a toy cash register, and another holds open a picture book showing illustrations of ducks.

The Little birds learnt about the importance of letter writing and print in books and around the environment.

The children carried out a mini provocation to design their own blanket for the farm animals to use following on from the ideas heard in the story.
