On Friday 19th September 2025, our academy was buzzing with excitement as we held a rockstar-themed day to re-launch our online Times Tables Rockstars (TTRS) programme! Pupils came to school decked out with creative rockstar accessories, wacky hair, colourful wigs, funky shades, and bold face paint, bringing a lively, musical vibe to the classrooms.
The day was designed to make learning times tables fun and engaging. Pupils from Year 2 upwards jumped straight into the TTRS activities, challenging themselves to improve their speed and accuracy with multiplication facts. Even our EYFS and Year 1 pupils joined in the fun with their own rockstar accessories.
The atmosphere was electric, with students excited to compete and see how quickly they could “rock” their times tables. The day not only encouraged a love for mathematics but also reinforced the importance of regular practice at home through TTRS.
We are thrilled with the enthusiasm shown by all our pupils and look forward to seeing them continue to shine as Times Tables Rockstars throughout the year!
