Little Birds have had a great time exploring science and art week!
This week, Little Birds inquired about the Artist Takashi Murakami; we found out information about him, where he is from and closely observed pieces of artwork Takashi had created. We looked at Japan on Google Earth in comparison to where we live and our school. We had fun and learnt new creative skills when developing our own representations of this art.
Little Birds were inspired to decorate flowers and make flowers with various collage materials and paper. We made a large scale painting using different sized brushes and printing with bottle lids and shapes.
