First week back for Little Birds

A group of children is playing on an outdoor playground. They are walking and balancing on a series of brightly colored stepping stones and a wooden beam.

The children at Little Birds enjoyed twisting, turning and pinching the nuts and bolts. A great way to strengthen their fine motor skills.

Three children are gathered around a black sensory table, actively playing with colorful building blocks and other small objects. The setting appears to be a classroom.

Story time with Mrs Riordan, the children listened and spoke about different feelings.

An adult is sitting on the floor with a group of children, reading a book aloud to them. They are all gathered together in what looks like a classroom setting.

The children loved the obstacle course. They balanced their way over the stepping stones, wooden blocks and the tyres. The more they moved, the more confidence they gained.

Several children are outside, walking along a line of wooden blocks, seemingly balancing as they move from one block to the next.

Number recognition – the numbers 1-5 were displayed on the chalkboard. The children were able to recognise the number and use their fingers to show the adult.

A child is standing in front of a large black chalkboard, holding up two fingers and looking down at their hand. The numbers "3" and "4" are written on the board, along with some names.

The children also enjoyed some water play.
