After spending time in reception for some transition sessions, the Little Birds have been talking about going to school.

Some teachers, teaching assistants and reception pupils came to visit the nursery to tell them about what they might learn and do in their new environment.

The image captures a vibrant classroom scene, likely in an early years or primary school. A teacher, seated on the left, is addressing a group of young children who are sitting on the floor, attentively looking towards the front of the room. In front of a large interactive screen, three children are standing. The screen displays "Welcome Little Birds!" and "Key People Today," along with various icons and images, suggesting an interactive lesson or a daily routine presentation. The classroom is brightly lit, with natural light coming from a window on the right. There are also educational resources visible, such as an abacus and shelves filled with learning materials. The overall atmosphere appears to be one of engaging and structured learning.

The children enjoyed talking about their visits and made models of their new classes from Duplo and bricks.

A young girl is at a desk, using a marker to fill out a "Register" sheet that includes spaces for "Teacher's Name" and a tick box for "Sandwiches or school dinner?". She is likely practicing taking attendance or learning about daily routines.
