This week, our Year 6 pupils had the pleasure of taking part in a powerful and inspiring Reform, Restore and Respect workshop led by the amazing Francis Osei- Appiah. The session encouraged thoughtful discussion, self-reflection, and a deeper understanding of how to make positive choices.
The children explored important topics such as peer pressure, the consequences of crime, and how their decisions can affect their long-term futures. They showed excellent communication skills throughout, asking thoughtful and sensible questions, and actively taking part in discussions.
It was fantastic to see the pupils confidently linking their prior knowledge from PSHE lessons to the workshop. They talked about the importance of speaking up when they see something wrong, shared what they had learned about stranger danger, and reflected on how social media and influencers can shape the choices young people make.
A big thank you to Francis for delivering such an engaging and meaningful experience- one that connected perfectly with the children’s ongoing learning and left a lasting impression.
