Safer Internet Day 2025: Spotting Scams and Staying Safe Online

This year, our school proudly took part in Safer Internet Day, focusing on the theme of scams. Miss Morrison (Digital Lead) delivered an engaging assembly for Key Stage 2, while Miss Smith led the session for Key Stage 1, teaching children how to recognise and avoid online scams. Following the assemblies, each year group participated in activities designed to help them understand the importance of protecting their personal information, spotting suspicious messages, and thinking critically before clicking on links. Through quizzes, discussions, and interactive tasks, pupils developed essential skills to stay safe online. Safer Internet Day was a fantastic opportunity for all children to build their digital awareness, and we are proud of how engaged and enthusiastic they were throughout the day!
