This week we have been looking at the book The Tiger Who Came To Tea – inquiring about the characters and looking at what happens in the story. Little Birds spoke about our family members after we met Mummy, Daddy and the little girl Sophie in the story.
We made collages of tigers by selecting our own textured resources. We also drew pictures of tigers using crayons. To encourage our imaginative skills some of us acted out parts of the story using props in the home area as well as through the use of small world resources.
We learnt some songs and rhymes about tigers. For example: ‘Five tigers in a row’
Little Birds can’t wait to find out what we are inquiring about next week.
