On Friday March 8th, we celebrated World Book Day at DPA in a truly special way. We invited our children and staff to embody their favourite words through creative costumes and the results were nothing short of amazing!
Throughout the day, our children showcased the power of language and storytelling by collaboratively crafting three captivating short stories. Each class contributed a unique segment, which was then expertly woven together into three whole-school tales. These stories came to life through enthusiastic readings by our students and were transformed into vibrant e-books, thanks to the dedication of our ‘Reading Crew’ and the use of Book Creator software.
Each e-book beautifully captured the essence of our school motto – Determined, Persistent Achiever – reflecting our commitment to nurturing resilient learners. We hope you enjoyed diving into our imaginative worlds through these engaging stories!
